"Collect and trade these spectacular Coca-Cola cards that capture the history of the world's best loved softdrink in brilliant, eye-catching color. Each card is a work of art in limited edition, sure to appreciate in value. And every card comes with fun trivia facts to fascinate you and your friends." Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. This are the different
looking cards from the four sets printed in the Phillippines in 1996.
The content of the card is the same as the US Collect-A-Cards sets, but
these cards have a sparkle foil effect. I am uncertain how many sparkle
cards there are per set, or the full description of these sets, but I'll
be working on
In Series 3 card number 289, and Series 2 card number 117 are totally different than the US version. Thus far, these are the only completely different picture in the four series set. On the back of these cards, the top "The Coca-Cola Collection" was replaced by another title. Also, the checklist was not updated to reflect the new content of the changed cards. There are color variations
between the US set and the Phillippines set. Also there are color
variations within each of the Phillippines sets. On a vast majority of
the Phillippines cards, the image are not centered on the card stock. On
several of the cards, the printer's cut line can be seen on the front as
well as on the back.
From what I can gather, the following cards are
the extremly rare cards. Only the two listed with known replacements
have been found. If you have any of these cards PLEASE contact me
via email.
If you have any information or corrections please email me. Also if you know of any other Coca-Cola cards from other countries, please email me. |
